In his duties as Chief Executive Officer, Jörn Grunert brings years of experience in management positions in the online marketing sector to the table. He has repeatedly demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit and his nose for successful business models.

In 1997 he founded Falk and Partner Internetservices. During the New Economy era, he sat on the management board of Falk eSolutions AG, an online marketing firm that has since been purchased by Google. Prior to joining Falk Technologies, Jörn Grunert served as Managing Director at Experian, where he was responsible for marketing services. Before that, he was Managing Director and board member of United MailSolutions AG, the leading e-mail marketing provider at the time, which was acquired by Experian in 2009.

Thomas Servatious / COO
Thomas Servatious

As Chief Operating Officer, Thomas Servatius is responsible for product development and management of customer projects at Falk Technologies. He has also served as Managing Director of Adternity, a portfolio company that he co-founded, since 2008. Thomas Servatius has an extensive track record of developing successful technology companies.

In the interim, Thomas and his team at Adternity have built more than 20 ad technology platforms for startups, as well as for major media companies. The scope of these projects ranged from full, end-to-end workflow automation to the integration of cutting edge technologies into existing business landscapes, which includes some of the leading DSP / SSP providers.

Thomas has also been the driving force behind the setup of the Falk Technologies Multi Channel and Business Intelligence divisions.

After joining Lycos Europe in 2001, he was initially responsible for supporting international customers in the European business development area. Management positions in sales, product management, and development followed. After this, he established the research department, in addition to managing several business areas as a company executive.

Thomas Servatius started his career as a management consultant at a consulting firm.

Henrik Basten

In his function as Chief Technology Officer, Henrik Basten manages the development of technologies within the corporate group and ensures that the IT solutions of the individual companies harmonize with one another perfectly. He previously served as Managing Director at Adternity GmbH.

Henrik Basten has years of experience in software development and project management. His résumé includes a stint as CTO at United MailSolutions Holding AG; prior to that he served as Managing Director of United MailSolutions GmbH. From 2002 to 2006 he served as project manager at Falk eSolutions AG. Henrik Basten began his career as a software developer at retailing giant Metro AG.

Ultano Kindelan

Ultano Kindelan holds the position of Chief Revenue Officer at Falk Technologies, where he is responsible for managing the international sales of all subsidiaries.

The native Spaniard is an established expert in selling products and services for digital advertising. He previously served as VP at VoodooVideo, a platform for online video advertising, where he headed international business development. Between 2008 and 2012 he held various management positions at EyeWonder, most recently as Managing Director for Sales in the EMEA and Latin America regions. Ultano Kindelan also served as Sales Manager at DoubleClick, where he helped expand the company's ad-serving business in Spain and Portugal.

Stephan Cavalar

An expert for finances and controlling, Stephan Cavalar is responsible for the entire Finance domain as Chief Financial Officer at Falk Technologies.

He contributes extensive experience from companies in the online advertising sector. He previously served as CFO and member of the management team at smartclip, an online video marketer. From 2005 to 2010 he was an authorized signatory and member of management in the Finance division of zanox, which he helped integrate in the parent companies after the successful sale to the Axel Springer Group / PubliGroupe. In the three years prior to that, he served as interim manager of the Finance departments at various companies. In addition, Stephan Cavalar has established and managed the finance and controlling areas at several online companies.

Thomas Falk

As Chairman of Falk Technologies, Thomas Falk advises the CEO and company management on enterprise strategy matters, and also helps support the establishment of business relationships.

Thomas Falk has served as Chairman of the Advisory Board of eValue Ventures AG, a venture capital company with a focus on technology companies in online marketing, since August 2012. Falk Technologies is the heart of eValue Ventures AG. The companies in the Falk Technologies network develop custom software solutions for both portfolio companies and external customers.

Thomas Falk is an entrepreneur, founder and investor of the eValue Group, which consists of the listed company eValue Ventures AG, the investment bank Digital Capital Advisors, and the U.S. fund Revel Partners. He is responsible for the strategic focus of the corporate group and determines its international investment strategy. With a clear focus on digital media, the eValue Group supplies not only capital to its investment objects, but also a unique mix of services encompassing technology, legal advice, controlling, HR, marketing and PR. The company's investments cover the entire digital value chain. Its investment portfolio includes Click District, Digital Response, VoodooVideo, StrikeAd and the AdconionMedia Group.

Thomas Falk played a decisive role in the establishment and subsequent successful transactions of EyeWonder, United MailSolutions, and smartclip. He supported these companies from their founding through the internationalization process to the successful exit.

After selling the company he founded, Falk eSolutions, to DoubleClick in 2006, he served in top-level international management as President EMEA, and left the company after DoubleClick was sold to Google.

Earlier in his career Joe served as Senior Vice President, North American Sales Operations at 24/7 Real Media, for 24/7 Mail, 24/7 Network, and 24/7 Media Canada on multiple product lines including Online Media, Email, Promotions, Loyalty Programs, and Wireless Advertising. Joe was recognized by Business Insider on its 2011 Silicon Alley List of technology leaders, and is an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® for the Metro NY award honoree. Jeff Lunsford is the CEO of Tealium, an enterprise tag management solution. Jeff Lunsford most recently served as president, CEO and chairman of Limelight Networks, which he joined in 2006 and later took public as part of a $240M initial public offering.

Prior to that, Jeff was the CEO of WebSideStory, a SaaS-based web analytics pioneer that is now part of the Adobe Marketing Cloud via acquisitions by Omniture and Adobe Systems.

Prior to WebSideStory, Jeff was the CEO of TogetherSoft Corporation, a software development company that sold to Borland Software in 2002. From 1996-2002, he was the senior vice president of corporate devel-opment for S1 Corporation, a provider of customer interaction software for financial and payment services. A former naval aviator, Jeff received a B.S. in Information and Computer Sciences from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Altogether, Jeff Lunsford has nearly two decades of experience as a successful technology and digital marketing executive.

Leipzig, 27.05.2013 – Das Technologieunternehmen Falk Technologies erweitert sein Portfolio um eine innovative Daten Analyse Plattform. Mit diesem neuen Ansatz, lässt sich das Kundenverhalten bei Online-Käufen analysieren und vorhersagen. Diesen Ansatz hält die Sächsische AufbauBank für zukunftsfähig und hat aus ihrer Projektförderung „Forschung und Entwicklung“ (FuE-Projektförderung) Fördergelder zur Verfügung gestellt.

At five board members the management team of Falk Technologies, under the leadership of the Chief Executive Officer, Jörn Grunert, is now complete. All the members, Thomas Servatius, Henrik Basten, Stephan Cavalar and Ultano Kindelan Williams, have executive experience and expertise in ad technology and online marketing.

As Chief Operating Officer, Thomas Servatius is responsible for product development and management of customer projects at Falk Technologies. His focus lies on the strategic development of online marketing solutions. This includes complementary modules for existing ad-serving systems, system integration via interfaces and backend solutions for performance optimization. Since 2008 Thomas Servatius has been successful within the eValue group, both as a managing director and as a founder of various divisions, which are brought together under Falk Technologies.

In his function as Chief Technology Officer, Henrik Basten manages the development of technologies within the corporate group and ensures that the individual company IT solutions are perfectly compatible with each other. Henrik Basten has extensive experience in software development and project management and was part of the original development team at Falk eSolutions. He boasts more than 10 years‘ experience in the planning and development of highly scalable ad-tech and online marketing technologies. His résumé includes positions as CTO at United MailSolutions Holding AG and, prior to that, as COO at United MailSolutions GmbH, where he built up the second largest multichannel campaign platform worldwide.

Finances are in the hands of Stephan Cavalar. The Chief Financial Officer has extensive international experience in finance and controlling. Before his appointment, Stephan Cavalar was at smartclip for two years and at zanox for five years. He played a significant role in the successful sale of smartclip to the Adconion Media Group and of zanox to the Axel Springer group/Publigroupe, successfully integrating both companies seamlessly in the respective parent companies. Previously, the business economist served as interim manager of the finance departments at various companies.

Ultano Kindelan Williams is another new member and as the Chief Revenue Officer is responsible for sales in the international market. Ultano Kindelan Williams can look back on 14 years‘ experience in the international digital economy. He has held various senior management positions in sales and in regional management for EyeWonder, Google and DoubleClick.

Düsseldorf, February 01, 2013 – Effective January 01, 2013, Jörn Grunert has been appointed CEO of Falk Technologies AG, a leading provider of technology solutions for digital marketing. Jörn Grunert has many years of experience in management positions and is a recognized expert in online marketing. Prior to joining Falk Technologies, Grunert served as Managing Director at Experian Germany, where he headed the Marketing Services division. Before that, he was Managing Director and board member of United MailSolutions AG, the leading e-mail marketing provider at the time, which was acquired by Experian in 2009.

From 2001 to 2004, Grunert served on the board of Falk eSolutions AG, an ad-serving vendor since purchased by Google, where he was responsible for the business development. Grunert launched his career in 1998 at Wallstreet Online.

In his duties as Chief Executive Officer, Jörn Grunert brings years of experience in management positions in the online marketing sector to the table. He has repeatedly demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit and his nose for successful business models.

In 1997 he founded Falk and Partner Internetservices. During the New Economy era, he sat on the management board of Falk eSolutions AG, an online marketing firm that has since been purchased by Google. Prior to joining Falk Technologies, Jörn Grunert served as Managing Director at Experian, where he was responsible for marketing services. Before that, he was Managing Director and board member of United MailSolutions AG, the leading e-mail marketing provider at the time, which was acquired by Experian in 2009.

As Chief Operating Officer, Thomas Servatius is responsible for product development and management of customer projects at Falk Technologies. He has also served as Managing Director of Adternity, a portfolio company that he co-founded, since 2008. Thomas Servatius has an extensive track record of developing successful technology companies.

In the interim, Thomas and his team at Adternity have built more than 20 ad technology platforms for startups, as well as for major media companies. The scope of these projects ranged from full, end-to-end workflow automation to the integration of cutting edge technologies into existing business landscapes, which includes some of the leading DSP / SSP providers.

Thomas has also been the driving force behind the setup of the Falk Technologies Multi Channel and Business Intelligence divisions.

After joining Lycos Europe in 2001, he was initially responsible for supporting international customers in the European business development area. Management positions in sales, product management, and development followed. After this, he established the research department, in addition to managing several business areas as a company executive. Thomas Servatius started his career as a management consultant at a consulting firm.

Henrik Basten

In his function as Chief Technology Officer, Henrik Basten manages the development of technologies within the corporate group and ensures that the IT solutions of the individual companies harmonize with one another perfectly. He previously served as Managing Director at Adternity GmbH.

Henrik Basten has years of experience in software development and project management. His résumé includes a stint as CTO at United MailSolutions Holding AG; prior to that he served as Managing Director of United MailSolutions GmbH. From 2002 to 2006 he served as project manager at Falk eSolutions AG. Henrik Basten began his career as a software developer at retailing giant Metro AG.

Ultano Kindelan

Ultano Kindelan holds the position of Chief Revenue Officer at Falk Technologies, where he is responsible for managing the international sales of all subsidiaries.

The native Spaniard is an established expert in selling products and services for digital advertising. He previously served as VP at VoodooVideo, a platform for online video advertising, where he headed international business development. Between 2008 and 2012 he held various management positions at EyeWonder, most recently as Managing Director for Sales in the EMEA and Latin America regions. Ultano Kindelan also served as Sales Manager at DoubleClick, where he helped expand the company's ad-serving business in Spain and Portugal.

An expert for finances and controlling, Stephan Cavalar is responsible for the entire Finance domain as Chief Financial Officer at Falk Technologies.

He contributes extensive experience from companies in the online advertising sector. He previously served as CFO and member of the management team at smartclip, an online video marketer. From 2005 to 2010 he was an authorized signatory and member of management in the Finance division of zanox, which he helped integrate in the parent companies after the successful sale to the Axel Springer Group / PubliGroupe. In the three years prior to that, he served as interim manager of the Finance departments at various companies. In addition, Stephan Cavalar has established and managed the finance and controlling areas at several online companies.
